Ist das wirklich der Grund? Sind es “nur” 2 ( alte ) Spieler, die nicht mehr dabei sind und das neue Gesicht einer Mannschaft? [...]

Das fehlte ja auch noch!
Erst die Korsettstangen der Mannschaft verscherbeln, und dann den Trainer rausschmeißen, wenn es nicht läuft. Gute Güte. Das war doch abzusehen, dass das nicht funktionieren kann.

Jetzt hab ich die Lösung. Der HSV muss 18. werden. Dieses könnte am Wochenende tatsächlich passieren. Vor 2 Jahren hat Thomas Doll es ja schließlich auch geschafft, uns vom Tabellenkeller nach oben zu führen. Wie das geht, weiß er ja schon.

Oh yes, Mighty Mouse and Thomas Doll would be a dreamteam.

To be honest, we sold one of the top players to Bayern this summer – but he struggled to get away, so what can you do? Plus we sold Boulahrouz to Chelsea. Slap him into the face, if you happen to meet him in the supermarket, please. :-)

If only you got Kevin Keegan back to coach too then the whole world, not just Hamburg, would be a better place.

Yes, Sorin is the Sorin.

Argh. Hard question for a hardcore fan like me. Well. Let’s go back a bit in history. We used to be amongst the European top teams until the mid 80s. We even won the Champions League in 1983.
During the 90s we had some hard struggles against relegation – but still, we are the last team left in the Bundesliga which was never relegated to the Second Division. There were coaches coming and going, as well as mid-class players.

But now, finally, we have a good mixture of experienced top players and young talents. We played in the UEFA cup last season and made our way to the Champions League now.

The coach is not a cutie – but he has class. He perfectly fits Hamburg, because he was a top player there during the early 90s. He doesn’t have that much training experience, but he puts all his heart and soul into the team. He was kind of a legend – and he finally came “home”.

Is Sorin – Juan Pablo Sorin who used to play at Villreal? He is class.

I don’t recognise many of the team, are you a bit like Leverkusen – used to be good then sold all your players to Bayern and are now struggling?

Why is the coach adorable – is he a cutie?

About that last victory thing: There weren’t any games to be played from Mid May till end of August so headlines like “it’s been five months since their last win” are ridiculously stupid…
